Each product requires a separate monthly subscription for one individual, limited to one active computer at a time. You can move your license to another computer yourself up to five times in any 12-month period. Additional moves require support approval.

Does DocketFetch replace NYSCEF?
No. DocketFetch works alongside NYSCEF through the desktop app’s built-in court browser, and soon on the Mac. You log into NYSCEF as usual, open a case from your own case list or search it by index number or party name, view which documents you need, and then we help you quickly get the accessible ones onto your PC. DocketFetch is an independent utility, designed to provide you with a desperately needed function that the court’s website lacks. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the New York State Unified Court System.
Does DocketFetch use my NYSCEF login?
Only to show you your own cases. You log in on NYSCEF’s own page inside the app’s court browser, exactly as you would in a browser. DocketFetch can remember the login on your computer and fill it in next time, but it never submits it for you. Once you are logged in, your My Cases list appears in DocketFetch.
What if a case has more than one page of documents?
DocketFetch reads the case’s document list across every accessible page, with each document’s name and description, then lets you choose which PDFs to download. You can refresh the list when you return to the case.
Can I download only new or selected documents?
Yes. Choose a document range, specific numbers, or only the documents filed since your last visit, or filter the list by filed date, filer, or document type. DocketFetch also skips documents its local case history records as already saved. Deleting that history removes the record of prior downloads.
